How many bookings did we have last week?
AI: A straight answer, no report builder.
Link Claude, ChatGPT or any AI assistant you already use to your SimplyBook.me account.
Then run your booking system just by chatting: "Show me tomorrow's schedule", "Book Jane for a haircut Friday at 3 with Anna", "Which clients still owe money?"
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a common standard that lets AI assistants talk to other apps. SimplyBook.me speaks this standard, so any MCP-capable assistant, such as Claude, Cursor or a custom GPT, can connect directly to your account.
Once connected, you talk to your assistant in plain sentences and it does the work for you inside SimplyBook.me. Think of it as a secure, permission-limited key to your booking system that you can switch off at any time.
The things that normally mean clicking through your admin. Now you just type them, and your assistant takes care of the rest.

The assistant can only do the things your own user account is allowed to do. If your role can't delete bookings in the admin panel, it can't delete them through the assistant either.
A few minutes, no technical setup required. The example below uses Claude, and the same steps work for Cursor, custom GPTs and other tools that support custom MCP connectors.
In your SimplyBook.me admin panel, go to Custom Features, find the feature called MCP and enable it. Open its settings and you'll see the Admin AI Assistant section. That's the one this guide uses.
In the Admin AI Assistant section, copy the read-only Connector URL to your clipboard. Always copy the exact URL shown in your panel. Do not type it from memory.
Open Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, give it a name and paste the connector URL. Confirm, and Claude opens a SimplyBook.me sign-in window.
Enter your company login, sign in with your normal email and password if asked, review the access screen, and click Allow access. Claude now shows the connector as connected.
Just chat with Claude and mention what you want done, such as "What's on the schedule for tomorrow?" Claude decides which actions to take and asks for confirmation on anything important.
Tip: The Admin AI Assistant section has a Download instructions button. Paste that file into Claude as a Skill or Project instructions to make it noticeably better at getting things right the first time.
Connecting an assistant is safe and reversible. Turning the feature off never deletes anything: your bookings, clients and settings are untouched.
The assistant inherits the permissions of the user account that approved it. It can never do more than that account is allowed to do in the admin panel.
Nothing connects without you signing in and clicking Allow access. There is nothing technical to fill in, just your normal login.
Disconnect the connector in your AI tool, change your password, or turn off the MCP feature. Any of these disconnects every assistant at once.
The same connector works with any tool that supports custom MCP connectors. The example here uses Claude; Cursor, custom GPTs and other MCP-capable tools work the same way. The flow is always the same: paste the connector URL, sign in to SimplyBook.me, and allow access.
SimplyBook.me gives you two ways to run your account by chatting. Both are powered by the same underlying assistant, so you get the same capabilities either way.
Our AI scheduling assistant built right into your admin. Nothing to connect. Open your account and start typing.
Meet Ask SimplyPrefer Claude or another AI tool you already use every day? Link it with the MCP connector and run SimplyBook.me from there. You're reading the guide now.
This pageA quick note on plans. The MCP connector is a custom feature in SimplyBook.me. Your AI assistant may require its own subscription or plan that supports custom connectors. For example, custom connectors in Claude require a paid plan and may not be available on every team plan. It's best to check what's available on the side of the assistant you want to connect.
Stop clicking through settings panels. Connect your AI assistant once and run your booking system by talking to it. SimplyBook.me is free to start.
