The Fixed Appointment Time feature gives you extended flexibility on controlling the availability of a service. A service with duration of 45 minutes can by definition be available the whole day, and while it is available the whole day, you may only want it to start at certain fixed times. As an example let’s say that you only want this 45 minutes service to be booked on the whole hour, then you can use the fixed time feature to do so because otherwise it might be bookable every 5 minutes of the hour, or every 15 minutes of the hour.
With the Fixed Appointment Time feature you can also set service start times for each individual service or use grouping of services and define fixed start times for many of them collectively. For example you can set the system to accept bookings for Service 1 on the whole hour and only in the mornings. Meanwhile you can make Service 2 and service 3 available only 15 minutes past the whole hour, and only in the afternoon. Hence, certain services can be grouped to have same start times.
Use your SimplyBook.me scheduling software to the fullest and enable the Calendar Sync custom feature. The Calendar Sync allows for 2-way synchronization with your personal Google or Outlook calendar. You can export bookings from the online booking system back into your personal calendar and also block times occupied by your personal calendar events back into your online booking system. By using the calendar sync you will never have to worry about double booking yourself again!
