What is AI Voice Booking?

AI Voice Booking lets visitors book appointments by speaking or typing on your website. An AI booking assistant understands the request, suggests available times, and confirms the booking—no forms required.

Does it work with my existing setup?

Yes. AI Voice-Driven bookings use your existing services, business rules, reminders, and calendar sync - nothing to rebuild.

How do credits work?

Credits are used per conversation (chat) with the assistant - not strictly per completed booking. Each chat consumes credits based on how many steps your booking flow includes and how long the conversation lasts (spoken or typed).

How much do the credits cost?

Pricing starts at €8 for 100 credits. In typical setups, a completed booking averages about €0.08 worth of credits.

Note: This is an average. The actual credit use can be lower or higher depending on flow complexity (locations, service categories, add-ons, staff selection) and conversation length.

What if a visitor doesn’t finish the booking?

Some conversations may consume credits even if the booking isn’t completed (for example, if the visitor leaves mid-flow). Credits are applied to the assistant interaction itself, not solely to completed bookings.

What happens at 0 credits?

When your balance reaches zero, the AI Voice Booking widget becomes unavailable. Once you add credits, the widget becomes active again.

What about privacy?

Your privacy is protected throughout the voice booking process:

  • Your voice is converted to text in real-time by OpenAI (our AI partner). Voice recordings are never stored.
  • We have a Data Processing Agreement with OpenAI ensuring they handle your data securely and in compliance with GDPR.
  • All communication uses industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3, AES-256).
  • Text transcriptions are kept for up to 30 days for security, then automatically deleted.

What if the AI makes a mistake?

AI is still evolving, so occasional mistakes may happen. Clients always review and confirm the booking details before finalizing.

If they need to cancel their booking afterwards, they can do so easily through the confirmation email they receive after completing the booking.

I have my own website where I use the SimplyBook.me widget. How can I get AI Voice Booking on my site?

You can add AI Voice Booking to your own website in a few steps:

  • Go to Custom Features → AI Voice Booking and enable it.
  • Add credits under Plans and Prices → Additional Items → AI Credits Pack. Τhe AI widget requires credits to function
  • Open Widget Settings to adjust colors and preview the widget.
  • Click Save & Get Widget Code and copy the script.
  • Paste the script into your website’s page editor.

Important to know:

The AI Voice Booking widget is a separate button that opens the AI assistant chat. If you’re already using the regular SimplyBook.me booking widget, the AI widget will not appear inside it.

You can enhance your client experience by placing the AI widget on your website alongside your existing booking widget.
