Our Story

In 2009, in Iceland, we set out to solve a simple but frustrating problem: how to help service providers stop wasting time on phone calls and start accepting bookings online — easily and reliably.

What began as a local project quickly grew into something much bigger. As more businesses joined, we listened, improved, and added new features based on real needs.

In 2011, we rebranded to SimplyBook.me, with a clear goal: build a flexible, user-friendly system that works for all kinds of service-based businesses — from hair salons to universities to enterprise-level teams.

In 2021, we launched SimplyMeet.me — a sister product for meeting scheduling — and in 2023, we proudly joined the team.blue family, gaining new resources to grow and improve even faster.
